Comprehensive Autism Related Education, Inc. (“CARE”) has created an informational social media site through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and MySpace. The purpose of this media site through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and MySpace, hereafter referred as the CARE Media Sites, is to provide general and updated information about CARE and to also offer educational insights into autism and the most effective treatments.
Absolutely no identifying information, nor information of any kind, about any clients of CARE (including the relatives of any such clients) can/will be placed on the CARE Media Sites. Further, only a selected group of well-trained employees will be given the authority to place information on the CARE Media Sites. These same employees will have the authority to screen any contemplated postings before the posting actually occurs. In that regard, the designated employees will determine whether it is appropriate to screen the proposed posting; the designated employees will not in any way edit or alter the proposed posting.
If you choose to access and post information on the CARE Media Sites, the following terms and conditions apply:
You cannot post, or attempt to post, any identifying information, nor information of any kind, about any past, present or future clients of CARE;
- You cannot post, or attempt to post, any identifying information, nor information of any kind, about the relatives of any past, present or future clients of CARE;
- You cannot post, or attempt to post, any personal health information of any person;
- You cannot post, or attempt to post , any information which is discriminatory toward any person respecting that person’s race, national origin, sex, gender identity, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, age or religion;
- You cannot post, or attempt to post, any information which is defamatory, disparaging, and/or which unduly infringes upon, and otherwise violates, the proprietary rights of any party;
- You cannot post, or attempt to post, any non-public, private and privileged information, including the personal images of any persons;
- You agree to fully indemnify and fully defend CARE, and its directors, shareholders, employees, agents, successors and assigns, from any and all claims that may arise as a result of any postings by you, including but not limited to your violation of the prohibitions set forth above.
By posting any information upon the CARE Media Sites, you grant CARE the irrevocable right to reproduce, distribute, publish, re-publish, display, and disseminate such content, and as well the right to create derivative works from such content, for any purpose deemed appropriate by CARE, without any compensation to you.
Furthermore, by posting any information upon the CARE Media Sites, you authorize CARE, in responding to any requests by any governmental bodies, to disclose all information known to CARE concerning such posting, including your identity.
