SOCIAL SKILLS GROUP

Who:
Children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorders who are having difficulties making and/or maintaining friends, interacting with peers, feeling rejected, misinterpreting social cues, having difficulty sharing, taking turns, or may be shy, unassertive, vulnerable or being picked on.

What:
Led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, we have created a safe environment in which critical social skills (building relationships, turn-taking, perspective taking, conflict resolution, initiating conversation, being assertive, etc.) are taught and practiced through hands-on activities and demonstrations.

When:
One hour a week after school (Times to be determined based on popular demand) for 12 weeks starting week of October 17, 2011

How much:
$20 per session ($25 for late registration after 10/12/11)
